After a standout freshman year at Western Kentucky, Derrick Gordon decided he would transfer away from the Hilltoppers in favor of brighter pastures.
The six-foot-two guard has four Atlantic 10 schools in mind on an eight school list, according to CBSSports.com's Jeff Goodman.
Rhode Island, La Salle, Massachusetts, and St. Joseph's all appear alongside Marquette, Seton Hall, Virginia Tech, and Kent State.
According to Goodman, Gordon will make a visit to UMass this weekend and Hawk Hill on Tuesday.
Gordon averaged 11.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game for the Hilltopper.
Coming out of St. Patrick's High School in Elizabeth, N.J., Gordon was a three-star prospect and rated as the No. 29-best shooting guard in the 2011 class.
