Andrew Nicholson was sensational as St. Bonaventure advanced to the semifinals tomorrow vs. UMass. The Bonnies figure to need an auto-bid to make the NCAA Tournament.

The Atlantic 10 Player of the Year lived up to his billing.

Saint Bonaventure forward Andrew Nicholson led the Bonnies to a 71-68 victory behind 25 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks.

After a clutch performance in double overtime against the Hawks just a week ago, Nicholson put together another spectacular showing as St. Bona dominated the paint.

St. Joe's didn't go away, though. When things looked bleak, the hot shooting Hawks would drain a three-point shot or get a bucket in the lane.

In a game where lead changes continued to occur on what seemed like a per minute basis, Nicholson was the one constant.

On Feb. 29, the Mississauga, Ontario native dropped 32 points and 14 rebounds in a single-handed victory over the Hawks, and today was much of the same.

Sophomore big man Halil Kanacevic tried his best to contain the A-10's best player, but a fifth foul with 1:32 left sidelined the Hofstra transfer and left the Hawks without an interior defensive presence.

After two games in the Atlantic 10 Tournament, we've seen the upset of the top-seeded Temple Owls, and now a nailbiter. What will the rest of the day and weekend have in store for us?
